When your body hurts, we look for the path to relief with you

In physiotherapy, there's no single path that works for everyone. Whether your pain came on suddenly or has been with you for a long time, we look for the therapy approach that's right for you. Sometimes a quick, targeted intervention is enough. Other times, we need to look at your body and its issues in a broader context. Fyzionet brings together a supportive network of specialists united by careful, expert hands-on work.

We work with health insurance companies, but we're also here for self-paying clients

What we can help you with...

Take a look at the kinds of issues you can bring to us

Fyzio.net Lucie Fričová fyzioterapie

Acute pain

Woke up with a stiff neck and can't turn your head? Lifted something heavy and can't straighten up? Have a blocked rib that makes it hard to even breathe? We'll help you find fast relief — most often using dry needling, mobilization, or soft tissue techniques.

Long-term pain

If pain keeps coming back or has lasted a long time, a short session may not be enough. A longer physiotherapy examination gives us time to look at your issues more thoroughly, identify what might be keeping them going, and choose the right next steps.

Movement issues

Recovering from an injury or surgery? Struggling with a particular movement, feeling unsteady, or want to safely return to sport and everyday activities? We'll help you restore movement and get back to doing what you love.

When physiotherapy alone isn't enough

Sometimes even careful, thorough physiotherapy doesn't bring enough relief. At that point, it can help to look at your issues in a broader context and explore other paths to relief.

Just a small step separates you from solving your problem.

Services Overview

Areas we focus on

What we can do for you

We tailor physiotherapy to where your issues come from and what you need right now

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy

For issues rooted mainly in the muscles, how they work together, or the way you move. We work with overload, muscle tension, stability, and movement patterns, looking for ways to help your body function well again.

Orthopedic physiotherapy

We help with issues involving joints, tendons, ligaments, and other musculoskeletal structures, and support you through the return to movement after injuries and surgeries. We most often work with patients recovering from fractures and total hip or knee replacements.

Neurological physiotherapy

We help people whose movement problems are related to a disease or injury of the nervous system. We mainly work with patients with herniated discs and nerve compression syndromes, but we also care for clients recovering from stroke, and those with multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease.

Physiotherapy for babies and children

For the youngest children, we focus on assessing movement development, training parents, and choosing suitable exercises. For older children and teenagers, we help with scoliosis, poor posture, and other movement issues.

Physiotherapy during pregnancy

We help pregnant women with back pain, SI joint pain, and other movement issues that can arise during this period. We adapt physiotherapy to the changes the body goes through during pregnancy.

TMJ physiotherapy and headache therapy

We help with jaw pain, restricted jaw movement, clicking, and other unpleasant symptoms in the jaw joint. We also work with headaches that may be related to muscle tension or issues in the cervical spine.

Overview of Techniques

Mobilization and Soft Tissue Techniques

Gentle physiotherapy methods aimed at releasing muscle tension, removing blockages, and restoring proper function of the musculoskeletal system. They help with back and joint pain, muscle overload, and limited mobility — contributing to pain relief, better movement, and overall recovery of the body.

Neurophysiological Techniques

Through targeted positioning of the body, movement, breathing, and awareness, we help activate the muscles so the body gains better support and movement becomes easier and more natural. We use different approaches depending on your issues and needs — ACT, DNS, the McKenzie method, sensorimotor stimulation, and the SM System.

Invasive Techniques

Dry needling — a technique for releasing painful trigger points in muscles. Inserting a very fine needle through the skin into the muscle triggers small twitch responses that release tension and relieve pain. A fast and effective technique. Book an appointment with Lucie.

Kinesiotaping

Application of tapes to relax or activate muscles, improve blood circulation, support healing, and reduce pain. Suitable for muscle, joint, and ligament pain, swelling, scars, and in sports physiotherapy.

What else do we offer?

Manual lymphatic drainage

A gentle manual technique that supports the proper function of the lymphatic system, helps with swelling and heavy legs, and supports recovery.

Classic, relaxation, sports, and facial massages

Treat yourself to a massage from an experienced physiotherapist. A massage helps release overloaded muscles, supports recovery, and gives you a chance to slow down.

Physiotherapy in a broader context

A session for those who want to better understand their issues, their broader context, and work together to find a path toward improvement. We may draw on various physiotherapy concepts as well as techniques from yoga and traditional Chinese medicine.

Support with MycoMedica products

Support with MycoMedica products

In some cases, physiotherapy can be usefully complemented by support from vital mushrooms and traditional Chinese medicine herbal blends by MycoMedica. This is not a stand-alone treatment or a universal solution, but one of the options for supporting the body's natural regenerative abilities. Any recommendation is always based on the client's individual situation and forms part of a comprehensive approach to health. If we feel this path could be beneficial for you, I'll be happy to discuss a suitable choice of products and how to use them.

Answers to your questions

Your most frequently asked questions

“Not sure how to cancel your session? Wondering what to bring with you? Curious about what to expect during therapy? If you don’t find the answer here, feel free to contact us at ordinace@fyzio.net.

I have problems that I need help with as soon as possible, but I don't have an FT voucher. Can I still make an appointment?

We also work with self-paying clients, where an FT voucher is not needed. We offer a quick appointment within 24 hours.

I have a K voucher from my doctor, can I come to you?

Unfortunately, you cannot get insurance-covered therapy from us with a K voucher. With a K voucher, you must go to a neurologist, rehabilitation doctor, or orthopedist to have them issue you an FT voucher. We can treat you as a self-paying client, and once you bring the voucher, you can continue treatment covered by insurance.

How long is an FT voucher from a doctor valid?

As of January 1, 2026, an FT voucher is valid for five months, during which we must complete the prescribed therapies. After five months, we can no longer provide any unused therapies — you'll need to request a new voucher from your doctor. You must book an appointment within 14 days of the voucher being issued, and your initial physiotherapy session must take place no later than 40 days after the voucher's issue date.

When and how to cancel therapy?

We ask for the earliest possible cancellations so we can fill the slot with another waiting client. If you cancel less than 24 hours before therapy, the therapy is forfeited without replacement. You can find details of cancellation conditions in our Terms and Conditions. Send cancellations preferably by SMS to 773 469 848 or by email: ordinace@fyzio.net.

Do you have any fees for clients who come with an FT voucher?

With an FT voucher, you are entitled to therapy without fees if you comply with our Terms and Conditions. For the first therapy, we collect a 300 CZK fee for appointment reservation. If you come to the agreed appointments or cancel them at least 24 hours in advance, we will refund this fee at your last therapy. We don't collect any other fees unless you are interested in techniques that are not covered by insurance or are not listed on the FT voucher.

Can I also enjoy additional techniques during insurance-covered visits that are not on the FT voucher?

Yes, each therapist has her specialization and offers techniques that are not covered by health insurance or are missing from the FT voucher. You can ask for them or the therapist may offer them to you herself. You always arrange this with the therapist at the previous therapy session, so you can reserve extra time for it next time.

What to bring to insurance-covered therapy?

Bring the voucher from your doctor marked with the letters FT, the doctor's report, and any X-ray/MRI/CT results related to your current problems. To feel comfortable on the examination table, bring a large towel. Alternatively, you can borrow one from us for a fee. Special clothing is not needed; you will undergo examination and therapy in your underwear.

How does therapy work?

The therapist will examine you on your first visit and ask for important information related to your condition. Based on her own examination and the FT voucher, she will choose appropriate therapy and suggest exercises for you to do at home. Examination and exercise takes place in underwear. You can write down, draw, or record the exercises on your mobile phone. Your active cooperation is necessary for successful therapy.

Do you have barrier-free access?

Yes, the polyclinic building has barrier-free entrance from K Přístavišti street after reconstruction. Near the end of the corridor on the right, use the elevator.
